大环村是广东省江门市新会区沙堆镇东北部的行政村，北邻独联村，西邻梅北村，南邻八顷村，东面隔一条珠江分流与珠海市斗门区上横镇相望[1]。现有常住人口约1300人，耕地3110亩，村民以种稻和养殖南美白对虾为主[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：立村时，这里是由西江支流下游冲积成的环形沙洲，南、西、北三面有小山环绕[1]。清道光六年（1826年），何、梁两姓先祖从今司前镇迁来立村，称「大环」[1]。
民国时为第八区那独乡辖地，1951年划入那大乡。1961年单立大环大队，隶沙堆人民公社。其后建制几经改称：1984年为大环乡，1986年为村委会，1988年为管理区，1999年又恢复村委会之名，沿用至今[1]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
村内耕地中，水稻田140亩，鱼塘1700亩，其余种植其他作物约100亩[1]。2021年9月，广东省农业农村厅公布的第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单里有大环村，专业方向是水产养殖[1]。
