历史沿革[edit]
据载宋代中叶此地已有居民，1253年福建莆田的林致政迁居鸿沟，后世奉为鸿沟林氏始祖。行政隶属依次为海阳县、饶平县（1477年起）、澄海县（1563年起）。[3]
经济[edit]
村里自述全村土地面积4.3平方公里，耕地2140亩，有1237户、5329人；发展水果、蔬菜种植和牛蛙等水产养殖，并有20家中小企业，产品包括纸制品、金属制品、塑料制品和玩具加工等。[2]2020年8月，鸿三村（生猪）入选首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村；2020年至2022年连续入选淘宝村名单。[1]
