上厝村是汕头市澄海区盐鸿镇的行政村，处在盐灶自然村的中段，东边是中社村，西边是港头，北面靠莲花山脚，南面抵澄饶联围，324国道从村域穿过。[1]
名称与历史[edit]
相传明洪武年间，福建林姓人氏游学至此建村，林氏生有二子，俗称长子为“上房”，长子在此居住，故称上厝。[1]1960年盐灶生产大队分出上厝生产大队；1984年设上厝乡，1986年设上厝村；1998年9月起设上厝村，沿用至今。[2]
经济[edit]
村里现有3800多人，耕地1600亩，山地4800多亩，滩涂近千亩，以水稻、果蔬种植、水产养殖和禽畜饲养为主；2009年人均收入3740元。村口是金鸿公路东端与324国道的连接处。[1]
