东庄村是韶关市乐昌市廊田镇辖下的行政村，位于廊田镇东南部，东接早禾田村，南邻曲江区梅村镇，西连楼下村，北靠白山村，离镇政府约7公里。[1]
面积约5平方千米，耕地2345亩，林地440.9公顷；辖15个村民小组，420户1753人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载村情，东庄村在1958年设东庄大队，1983年改设东庄乡政府，1987年设村民委员会，1989年改称管理区，1998年又设村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
据村情资料，农业是村里的主要产业，部分村民外出打工或做建筑、商业；2009年农民人均收入为5084元，村集体经济收入3.57万元。[1]
