历史沿革[edit]
当地传说，这里鱼小、水也小，原叫小鱼水，后改作小楣水。[2]1984年成立红山墟镇居委会时，小楣水属其管辖；1991年9月分出，设小楣水管理区。[3]
经济[edit]
镇情简介称，粤北野生白毛茶集中分布在黄岭嶂四周，以小楣水和烟竹最为集中。[4]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，小楣水村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
