历史沿革[edit]
关于村名，据博雅地名网所载传说：越王勾践灭吴之后，吴王的子孙被迫逃亡，辗转进入仁化，最后在红山的吴竹岭山下隐居，那里因此叫吴族岭，溪叫吴溪，村子叫吴王村，后来讹读为「鱼皇」。[2]新中国成立后设鱼皇乡，1958年改称鱼皇大队，1984年复称乡，1986年称村委会，1989年又设管理区，1998年撤管理区、重设村委会，名称沿用至今。1971年1月，鱼皇大队由董塘公社划出，参与组建烟青人民公社。[1][3]
经济[edit]
鱼皇村的茶业称号较多：2017年7月，农业部认定其为第七批全国「一村一品」示范村镇（产品为丹霞红红茶）；2019年7月被定为韶关市「一村一品」特色专业村；2020年8月入选首批省级「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（茶叶）。[1][4]2022年1月，省乡村振兴局确定它为2021年度「广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2026年1月，又获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
文化[edit]
1928年10月，改选后的中共仁化县委和县革命委员会以鱼皇南木坑（距高坪电站约2公里）为办公驻地，红军第四独立团的前身部队也驻在此处训练。[4]
县政府网站记，鱼皇村举办过「全民义务植树暨三级林长植树」活动，镇里的这次植树活动共发动党员、群众超过500人次。[5]
