江南村隶属仁化县闻韶镇，旧称五乡垌。1956年，江头、南岸两村的一部分农户合组江南农业社，江南之名自此取代旧称。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国后先称乡，1958年改大队，其后几经乡、村委会、管理区的更替，1998年起定名江南村委会。[1]
著名人物[edit]
博雅地名网收有江头村人吴少周（1917年至1977年）的小传，称他1934年在江西投身革命。[1]
