塘源村是仁化县闻韶镇下辖的行政村，在镇区北面，距镇政府约1.5公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所录村情，村名的由来，是先民从始兴的大井头迁到这里定居。此地清代隶属南雄县百顺都，民国年间归南雄百顺区，1949年后为百顺乡的一部分；1958年改属仁化县，入长扶公社。[1]进入1990年代，先后称闻韶塘源管理区、塘源村委会，2006年记为闻韶镇塘源行政村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村在丘陵地带，地势较平，周边最高处海拔约270米，塘源河流经村境；相邻的自然村有坌村、马寨、路头村。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村里世居汉族，民系为客家，通行客家方言，传统以水稻种植为主。[1]
2019年9月，塘源村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
