草庄村是广州市白云区太和镇的行政村，在白云区北部，东临105国道（新广从路），西面与人和镇、钟落潭镇交界；有6个经济社、512户、1820人，土地面积1.6平方千米。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，1800年前后林姓先祖在此开基，当时茅草丛生，称茅草庄，后简称草庄。[1]1949年后草庄长期是大沥的一部分，公社时期叫草庄大队；1993年脱离大沥村民委员会，自成一村。[1]
经济[edit]
村内闲置土地较多，引进了20多家企业，农田出租给外来者耕种，鱼塘养殖四大家鱼。[1]2020年至2022年列入淘宝村名单。[1]
