谢家庄村是广州市白云区太和镇的行政村，在镇区北部，新广从快速路与京珠高速分别经过村域西侧和东侧，占地526公顷，分25个生产社，本地常住约5000人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，1750年先民开基建村时挖出一块刻有“谢家庄”的石头，村名由此而定。[1]1950年它与沙亭合称谢沙联村，1953至1958年又是谢沙乡的驻地所在。[1]
经济[edit]
村地处镇中心北侧，交通便利，半数以上村民外出务工，村、社集体靠出租厂房和土地取得收入，并计划发展第三产业。[1]2020年至2022年列入淘宝村名单，2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内的谢氏大宗祠在广州起义期间曾是起义军驻地，已列入白云区红色革命遗址目录。[2]
