沙亭村是广州市白云区太和镇的行政村，在镇区以北，新广从路边，村域面积约3平方千米，分10个村民小组，共3300多人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名来由：沙亭岗东面的帽峰山麓山泉水量大，冲下的流沙在岗脚下积成大片沙滩。[1]1949年以前这里属白沙乡；1950年到1952年与谢家庄合为谢沙联村，其后的1953至1957年是谢沙乡。[1]
