历史沿革[edit]
北村约建于南宋末期。[1]1961年设北村大队，1984年改为北村乡，1987年撤乡改设村民委员会，一直沿用。[1]龙归墟中心的仁风社学（始建年份待考，清道光十八年已有重修）由北村与南村、柏塘、夏良、园下五个乡合资建成，用于办学、议事和调解纠纷。[2]
地理环境[edit]
南面临市一环路（即北太路），北侧靠北二环高速，105国道在东，106国道在西。[1]
人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网写全村人口2007人，在外的侨胞将近4000人，没有说明年份。[1]
经济[edit]
近年来村里借助交通条件，建设物业出租，增加村、社集体收入，用以提高村民的股份分红和福利。[1]
2020至2022年，北村连续三年进入淘宝村名单；2026年1月获评广东省“百千万工程”典型村（第二批）。[1]
