历史沿革[edit]
龙归社区设立于1990年，隶属龙归镇；2004年龙归镇并入太和镇，改由太和镇管辖，2020年起属新设的龙归街道。[1][3]
辖区内的龙归墟约有400年历史，旧名牛归墟，因傍晚农夫耕罢牵牛回村时最热闹而得名，后改称龙归。[2]民国之前，墟中有东、西、南、北、中五条街，街道以仁风社学为中心布局；新中国成立初期设有供销社的百货商店和华侨商店，1965年前后还设龙归侨联会。[2]2010年地铁3号线龙归站开通后，周边商业中心逐渐外扩，老墟街巷渐趋冷清，部分青砖商铺保存至今。[2]
经济[edit]
龙归社区2020至2022年连续进入淘宝村名单；在2024年11月的认定中，它列入2024年度广州市充分就业社区。[1]
