上榨在沙湖社区，离街道办事处约3千米，邻近沙湖、吓榨、复兴、文新、卢屋、谢屋诸村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据2010年修的《邹氏族谱》，村建于清嘉庆五年（1800年）前后：邹氏先祖邹宏禄、邹凤腾从沙湖分别迁到老屋和上门榨，形成了现在的上榨村。邹氏先祖农商并举，设有「五友堂」「六怡堂」商号，五友堂的榨油作坊叫「上榨」，村名由此而来，旧称上门榨。[1]
1995年前后，老屋破旧，多数村民在隔圳一带另建了新村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
南有高88米的隔圳岭，汤坑河从村南流过，在东纵路段汇入坪山河，坪山河自村北流过。[1]
