高另在汤坑社区，2015年末户籍人口65人，世居的以罗、张、陈三姓为主，说客家话。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村始建于1928年，张姓先祖从张屋车迁来开基；1990年为修横坪公路而重建，因地势较高称「高岭」，后来音变为今名。[1]
村内没有宗祠，罗姓村民与石楼围村罗氏同宗，仍按旧例在正月初二一同祭祖。传统经济种水稻和番薯，2005年成立股份合作公司，集体经济转为出租工业厂房，2015年租金收入约120万元。[1]
