五和村是连州镇的一个行政村，村委会沿用了由5个自然村组建大队时确定的名称。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明万历年间，杜氏始祖自广东梅州平远县迁入，形成村委最早的村落；之后曾氏等姓氏陆续迁入。[2]

1958年公社化后，五和属连州公社五和生产大队；1983年设五和乡，隶属连州区；1986年改设五和村民委员会，1989年改设五和管理区，1999年复称五和村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，本村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
