社区工作站成立于2006年12月。[1]社区党委把“五和”拆成五层意思作为理念：居民心善、邻里相睦、环境宜人、生活安乐、社区安定。[1]

辖区东到坂雪岗大道，南到雅园路，西到永甘路，北到布龙路。[1]
