沙口村是附城街道下辖的行政村，属村庄类型。明末清初已设沙口村，属西宁县常静都。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

莫氏始祖奇清在明朝年间由封开迁到此地落户，此后钟、梁、蔡、王、黄、黎、陈、范、欧、李等姓陆续迁入，现村中有24姓，梁姓人数最多。[2]

民国时期先后隶郁南县榃滨乡与中良乡；1958年改隶罗定，1961年划入新乐公社。新乐镇于2003年10月撤销，村遂并入附城街道。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，本村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
