石咀村在明万历年间已有林氏迁入，明末及清初又有叶、苏等姓氏陆续定居，林姓为村内最大的姓氏。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

现有林、叶、苏、蔡、陈等姓，最大的林姓占60%。[2]

原属云浮县第六区，1961年并入郁南县，成为东坝人民公社的石咀生产大队。此后于1983年设石咀乡人民政府，1987年改为村民委员会，1989年一度改为管理区。[2]
