白马村位于太平镇，村名取自村址的风水格局，格局形似「飞马踏燕」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

元朝建立后，南宋后人陆续南迁，在此定居。村中姓氏较多，有黄、陈、赵、刘等，以林姓最多，占10%。[2] 1949年前此地属共成乡，此后历经白马乡、社圩公社、共成人民公社等建制。[2] 1983年至1986年间属共成区白马乡，1986年至1998年为共成镇白马管理区。[2] 1999年改称白马山村委会，2003年划入太平镇，称白马村民委员会。[2]

1958年前，白马村管有14个自然村，此后有所变动，现管辖13个自然村。[2]
