石潭村位于省道1930线北侧，与洪阳镇仙步村交界。村内主要种植生柑，村民多外出务工。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期，该村归普宁第一区与第八区管辖。其后1953年改隶第八区，名和五乡；1957年改属广太乡，名和五大队；1958年入南溪公社，名称不变。1961年并入另一大队，1974年划归广太公社，1976年单独设立石潭大队。1984年设石潭乡，1986年改为石潭村委会，1990年起称石潭管理区，1999年又改回石潭村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，村庄获命名为2023年度「广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
