大坝镇位于广东省揭阳市普宁市境内，镇政府驻大坝社区。镇域北接洪阳镇和赤岗镇，东与南径镇相邻，西与梅塘镇为界，南面与燎原街道、流沙东街道毗连。[2]

镇内农业以水稻、番薯和烟叶为主，工业有食品、塑料、服装、竹艺等行业，境内也有一批文物古迹。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1749年张、林等姓村民由福建迁来建村。此处原是一片大沙坝，故名大坝；因政府驻地设在大坝村，这一名称沿用至今。[1]

1957年设大坝乡，1958年并入大坝公社；1974年燎原分出另设；1983年改为区建制；1986年设镇。[1][2] 大坝居委会设立于1999年，2002年起改称大坝社区居委会，沿用至今。[11]

该镇在2020年被认定为广东省乡村治理示范镇。[2] 2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月公布的「淘宝镇」名单都列有大坝镇。[1] 2023年广东省卫生乡镇的称号于2024年3月授予大坝镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

2023年统计年鉴所列大坝镇土地面积为60.13平方千米。[3] 百度百科记为59平方千米，博雅地名网记为约59.4平方公里，两者均未注年份。[1][2] 博雅地名网称镇域在市境西北部、铁山西侧，百度百科则称在普宁市东北部。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网记：第七次全国人口普查得出的数字为8.75万人，博雅地名网于2021年6月公布。[1] 百度百科所载为2019年末户籍人口116279人，两者统计口径不同。[2]

经济[edit]

农业主产水稻、番薯和烟叶，并有水果、蔬菜和家禽基地。工业以食品、塑料、服装、竹艺为主。集市贸易活跃，耕牛专业市场历史悠久。[1]

镇政府提出「大坝菜」农产品品牌，白坑村的茭白种植是其中之一。[7]

文化[edit]

《英歌情》实景剧场设在大坝镇，以国家级非遗「普宁英歌」为核心内容。2025年，该剧场入选揭阳「看英歌，到揭阳」省级非遗特色旅游线路。[6]

名胜古迹[edit]

云石岩在月窟村，位于云石岩山上，海拔160米，山间有古枫林。上山的石阶共470级，旧称「云石樵径」。[10] 维基百科称云石岩为普宁市市级文物保护单位，类型为古建筑，公布于1961年。[4]

九江陈氏祖祠位于九江村，年代为1927年，属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑，为县级文物保护单位。[9]

铁山洋村的五福堂由当地郭、黄两姓在1887年（清光绪年间）兴建，旧称新寨仔庵。寺庵在1966年5月遭严重破坏，重修后改称普宁小灵山。[8]

普宁县临时人民政府旧址经修缮布展，2021年，当地以九江、白坑、杜香寮三村为爱国主义教育主阵地，升级打造红色旅游路线。[5]
