历史沿革[edit]

1960年设为大队；1984年划归流沙区，称赤水乡；1987年划归流沙镇，改称赤水村委会；1990年成为赤水管理区；1999年又称赤水村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

  • 赤水陈氏祖祠：清代古建筑，属市县级文物保护单位，2011年列入第五批名单。[2][3]
  • 陈凤瑞墓：清康熙年间的古墓葬，属市县级文物保护单位，同样于2011年列入第五批名单。[2][4]
  • 革命烈士纪念碑（赤水）：建于1958年，属近现代重要史迹，1988年10月20日由普宁县人民政府公布为文物保护单位。[2][5]
