北山村位于普宁市区东北部，北倚铁山，南临练江（百度百科）。全村总人口12400人，2400多户（百度百科）。[2]

村民以务农为主，多外出务工、经商（百度百科）。村内有铁峰寺和许阿梅墓两处县级文物保护单位（博雅地名网）。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1955年为农业合作社时期的北山高级社；1958年改组入人民公社，属红色公社第九团；1960年起定为北山大队；1984年为北山乡；1986年改称北山村委会；1990年设北山管理区；1999年再定为北山村委会，沿用至今。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

铁峰寺的年代为1845年至1855年，属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑，为县级文物保护单位。许阿梅墓为清末墓葬，同为县级文物保护单位。[4][5]

经济[edit]

村内以纯农为主，有玉米种植基地一个，服装加工小作坊20多家（百度百科）。[2]

文化[edit]

村内有铁峰园和文化活动广场（百度百科）。2008年，普宁市将村子评定为社会主义新农村示范点（百度百科）。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2026年，北山村在广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村之列；普宁市政府网站2026年2月发布的消息称，全市第二批36个典型村均已通过省级评定。[3]
