长春社区位于葵潭镇区，是镇政府所在地，也是全镇政治、经济与文化的中心。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年后，此地先后经历大队、乡政府、村委会和管理区等建制的变化。1999年5月至2002年5月，村委会与居委会并存；2002年6月起两者合并，改设社区居委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

2009年底，社区总人口27194人，非农业人口13996人，农业人口13198人。耕地1995亩（水田635亩、山地4500亩）。[1]

社区商贸发达，商业上有粤东水果批发市场，另有旭日、佳友等商场与新兴市场。工业以毛织为龙头，电子、服装、首饰和水果加工等产业相辅。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

葵潭黄氏创始祖百原公祠堂位于本社区，年代为清朝康熙四十一年，属古建筑。2023年9月，惠来县公布其为第八批不可移动文物登记单位，保护级别为一般不可移动登记单位。[2]
