龙门村在镇区北面的山地里，离镇区约7千米，海拔较高，产茶以本地绿茶为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年，村址属龙山大队。1984年2月，大队撤销，改为龙门乡政府；1986年定为龙门村民委员会，1990年称龙门管理区，1999年改为村委会，此名延续至今。[1]

2019年9月，龙门村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]
