历史沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年间，此地为凤江人民公社东新大队。1984年2月，大队撤销，凤江区改设东新乡。1986年起称东新村委会，1990年划入凤江镇政府的东新管理区，1999年村委会的名称正式固定，直至今日。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
