军田社区位于揭西县县城中心，是河婆街道下辖的社区之一[1]。

地名由来[edit]

此处旧时是一片农田，后有军队在此驻扎，社区因此得名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

社区先属东风居委，1985年至1987年归河山居委。1988年自河山居委划出另设，后经县政府批准成立军田居委；2002年定名为军田社区居民委员会[1]。

文化教育[edit]

辖区内有东风小学、揭西中心幼儿园等教育机构，另设有基督教河婆堂[1]。
