大岭村在桂岭镇西部，周边与岭丰、龙岭、健豪、柏旺、玉白等村接壤，省道107线穿村而过。[1][2]

村民收入主要来自农业、林业，以及把土地租给企业承包的收入。村里开发山坡用地，改种园林花卉，已有生态公益林700多亩。农业上摆脱了单一的传统种植，实行多样化经营。[2]

村里招商引资，欢迎企业家来办企业；全村道路已水泥化并配上路灯，治安稳定。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村寨是明末建成的。1966年分出一支大岭分队；1984年改设磐溪区大岭乡，1986年设大岭村委会，至今延续。[2]
