村子在云路镇北部，靠近揭东县城东北侧，云宝路和万宝路在村内交汇，交通便利。[1]

名胜[edit]

村域青山环绕，白石岩山上的白石禅寺经过重修和扩建。村中还有莲华古井、双叠石、双鸡笼山，以及老虎陂水库，博雅地名网把它们列为旅游去处。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属梅岗都。1955年成立互助组，1962年由数个生产队合并为军田大队。1984年改设军田乡，1986年村委会设立，沿用至今。[1]
