河塘村是文祠镇下辖的行政村，由东坑、李厝坝、和尚山、月宫、河塘5个自然村组成。主村河塘因村前溪床宽阔、形如池塘而得名。[1]

村史[edit]

明万历三十年（1606年）此地始立村，开村者曾无攀原住文祠苏山村，同属曾姓。东坑为江姓，李厝坝为李姓，和尚山有张、章二姓，月宫为李姓。1958年公社化后以主村命名河塘大队，1999年起改设村民委员会。[1]

产业与荣誉[edit]

山地3708亩，耕地366亩；2005年为191户、750人，农业以橄榄、杨梅为主。2019年9月，本村进入2018年度省民主法治示范村创建名单。[1]
