东社村是文祠镇下辖的行政村，由合佩、圆墩下、茶輋3个自然村组成，主村合佩以张姓为主。[1]

村史[edit]

1466年（明成化二年），张霖自福建宁化来到合佩，成为本村张姓之始。圆墩下为谢姓，茶輋则有谢、张两姓。1958年公社化时，本村与石坑合设东社大队；1976年石坑分出自设大队；1999年起改设东社村民委员会。[1]

产业与荣誉[edit]

耕地301亩，山地8734亩；2005年的统计以橄榄、杨梅为主要农产，本村计有788人。2020年8月，东社村因杨梅入选广东省农业农村厅首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]
