东龙村为潮安区凤塘镇所辖的行政村，俗称东船头，为片村，含东龙、市头、李畔、慎廉和市后五个自然村。村子位于镇政府驻地西南约5.2千米处。[1]

历史沿革与地名[edit]

村子明洪武年间（1368年至1398年）创建，有邱、程、李、林四姓居住。村地形似龙船、四面环水，创乡始祖邱姓取“东”“船”二字，村名称东船头，后沿称东龙。[1]

1958年公社化期间设队，队名以主村为依据，称东龙大队。此后，1999年起改设东龙村民委员会，至今仍用此名。[1]

文物[edit]

潮安万里桥在村内，建于南宋，2006年公布为潮州市文物保护单位。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，村获广东省爱卫会授予的「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]
