大岭村在大岭山镇西南，离镇中心区约3公里，面积7平方千米，辖上油古岭、下油古岭、瓮窑、大王岭四个自然村，共7个村民小组[1]。村内户籍人口2817人，常住人口约3.5万人[1]。村子属于革命老区，东江纵队留下的红色传统世代相传[1]。

抗日根据地旧址[edit]

抗战期间，村子经历了「更鼓楼战役」「大王岭保卫战」等战斗[1]。大岭山抗日根据地旧址位于大王岭村，1940年由广东人民抗日游击队第三大队创建，包括大队部、会议室，《大家团结报》报社，交通站之外还有粮食加工场；操场、医务所、中山书院与连平联乡办事处也在其中，共9处文物点[2]。该旧址2006年5月25日被列为「第六批全国重点文物保护单位」[2]。

纪念馆与红色乡村[edit]

广东东江纵队纪念馆设在大王岭，是展示东江纵队历史的专题纪念馆，被列为第四批全国青少年教育基地[3]。2020年12月，村子被中央组织部确定为红色美丽乡村试点村[1]。

2024年度，村组两级集体资产约2.48亿元，比上年下降0.1%，净资产约2.19亿元，资产负债率11.9%；村组两级总收入2383万元，经营纯收入1866万元[1]。
