禾坑村位于广东省东莞市桥头镇西部，镇政府网站载其总面积为1.45平方千米。村民为朱熹后裔，村内保有朱氏宗祠。[2]

据博雅地名网，明朝建文年间，南雄珠玑巷的朱姓人家先在谢江曹乐一带落脚，之后才来到此处，起初称锅坑，后改名禾坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1949年前此地属丰乐乡；1952年与大洲合并，各取一字定名为大禾乡。1958年公社化后称禾坑大队，之后改为乡，1988年设管理区，1999年改设村委会。[1]

村情[edit]

镇政府网站载，2025年村内常住人口约1.04万人，户籍人口1185人，外来人口9165人，村级股东1041人。[2]

村内市场主体共1146家，规上工业企业有25家。挂牌新三板的企业有1家，专精特新企业2家，高新技术企业8家。2025年村集体经济收入约2428万元，集体资产约1.43亿元。[2]

村内先后获「广东省乡村治理示范村」「东莞市卫生村」等称号，还入选了广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村。[2]
