田寮村位于石排镇北部，地处东江南岸，北面隔江与博罗县园洲镇下南村相望。村域面积约3.3平方公里，是石排镇的北大门之一。[1]

村名源于清代先民渡江垦荒、搭寮定居的经历。村里养殖龟鳖，2020年获评广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」龟鳖专业村；龙舟景是村中的传统民俗。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村民先祖原住江对岸的博罗县园洲镇下南村，因耕作之需渡江到此开荒搭寮，于清代定居（政府网站记为1709年），地名由此而来。[1]清咸丰年间，此地归东莞县戎厅管辖；到了民国，划入东莞县第二区的云山乡。[1]1999年起设为石排镇田寮行政村。[1]

人口与姓氏[edit]

截至2025年末，全村有户籍居民2140人（男1117人，女1023人），年满80岁的老人72人，旅居港澳台的乡亲约150人；另有外来人口约6000人。村内以陈姓为主，先祖于明朝自南雄珠玑巷迁至博罗园洲。[1]

经济[edit]

村内农业以龟鳖养殖为特色，主要出产中华鳖。村集体在2025年的收入为2205万元。村里还在东江沿岸形成了以五金电子、塑胶为主的工业区。[1]

交通与民俗[edit]

石洲大道（省道）纵贯全村。龙舟景是村里自民国初年延续下来的习俗，于每年农历五月初六在东江上举行，参加者多为本村村民及祖籍本村的香港同胞。[1]
