西塘村是广东省清远市连州市东陂镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西南部，下辖12个村民小组，辖内有9个自然村。村中的广东省立文理学院连县办学旧址是抗战时期的教育遗迹，2022年列为广东省文物保护单位。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

广东省立文理学院连县办学旧址位于西塘村，由数座单体建筑组成。1939年至1945年抗战期间，该校两度迁入东陂镇，借用宗祠建筑群作校舍。[2]

据连州市政府门户网站，西塘的文旅融合项目仍在加快建设中：争取到公益资金1200万元，先行的公益工程已经完工，停车场与道路硬化等设施有序施工，省立文理学院的布展方案也在优化。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2017年10月，西塘村获「第一批广东省卫生村」称号；2019年9月，入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”」创建单位；2020年8月，以花卉产业入选「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1]

2021年1月，西塘村入选「第七批广东省古村落」名单；2022年10月，列入「第六批中国传统村落」；2024年3月，被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2024年4月，入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
