六余村隶属湛江市雷州市白沙镇，是镇下辖的行政村之一。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
六余民国时归海康县合兴乡，解放后归第六区客路区合兴乡，1953年重回白沙，设六余大队。1959年曾分成六余、黄桐、草白三个大队，1963年复合为一，1982年立乡；1987年分出草白村委会，六余于1989年设管理区，1999年起称村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，于2019年9月公布名单，该村在列。[1]
