热水村位于水边镇东南部，是镇下辖的行政村，辖16个村民小组。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村名的由来是，村内有三个温泉湖，湖水温度较高，村因此得名热水。[1]

1950年这里是热水乡，1958年称热水大队，1978年一度划出文洞大队，1981年又并回热水大队。1983年重设热水乡，1986年改为村委会，1990年设热水管理区，1998年10月7日定名为热水村委会。[1]

温泉项目[edit]

「水边温泉度假及沿江旅游资源开发项目」的温泉度假部分设在热水村的热水塘一带，另一部分沿江游设在流寨村。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，热水村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2019年12月，热水村入选「第一批国家森林乡村」名单。2021年12月，热水村被评为「2021年广东省卫生村」。[1]
