江南村是大站镇下辖的行政村，地处翁江与北江汇合口的南面，村名由此而来。村内的英德文峰塔是英德市重点文物保护单位，也是大站镇的主要古迹。[1]

沿革[edit]

1950年设江南乡政府，1958年改为江南大队，此后乡与村委会的建制先后改设多次。[1]

英德文峰塔[edit]

英德文峰塔位于江南村，1985年被定为英德市重点文物保护单位。此塔用空心砖砌成，带出檐与平座。[1]

据博雅地名网所载，该塔已有390余年历史，两次被雷击中，北面的一排狗牙式砖块被打落，但塔身基本完好。[1]

近年事务[edit]

2023年，江南大塘防洪堤完成维修加固。[2]

2025年3月，镇里为江南村与波罗坑村之间的村道安装了太阳能路灯。村民多以种菜为生，凌晨就要下地采收，路灯安装后夜间作业更为安全。[3]
