格水村位于石潭镇北部，离石潭圩约6公里，村域面积约12平方千米。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历：分设时与西安隔着一条河，故名。[1]
此村原属西安：1953年曾设西安乡，1958年改为大队，1965年又并回西安，1986年重新从西安划出，1989年改为管理区，1998年恢复为村委会。[1]
2019年9月，格水村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年9月，格水村列入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，以蒲坑茶入选；2026年1月，格水村获评第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
