新洲村是禾云镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东北部，距禾云镇约15公里，全村总面积8.35平方千米。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村委会驻地原为新洲圩，即现在的沿一路一带，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年设新洲乡，1958年改为新洲大队，1983年设新洲乡政府；1986年成立村委会，此后1989年曾改设管理区，1999年又恢复为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，本村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
