新洲社区是禾云镇下辖的社区。其前身新洲镇于2003年撤销，并入沙河镇，2004年随沙河镇并入禾云镇。[1][2]

沿革[edit]

2003年6月，新洲镇撤销，并入沙河镇；2004年5月，沙河镇又并入禾云镇。[2]

人物与习俗[edit]

唐寿仁、丘昭文、陈赞容等人物，史料称其为新洲（今禾云镇）人。[3]

春节期间，位于新洲一带的新洲北帝庙有抢烧「头炷香」的习俗，2025年大年初一，庙里接待前来祈福的群众约2000人次。[4]
