岗美镇是广东省阳江市阳春市下辖的镇，位于阳春市东南部、漠阳江中下游，北距阳春市区约14公里，南下阳江市区约36公里。全镇辖4个社区、19个行政村。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

岗美一带在明清两代隶属南乡都。进入民国后，它归入阳春的第六区；此后的行政划分屡有变动，其间先后出现过第十四区、岗尾乡与潭籍乡，也数度改设公社，某一时期还并入春城一带的管辖。直到1983年才设岗美区，三年后撤区改镇，即今日的岗美镇。[1]

镇名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：明代黎姓族人在罗汉岗东面设圩，之后李姓族人在岗尾末端另建一圩，两姓相争，黎氏的圩场衰败，李氏的圩场兴起，这一带称岗尾。1959年，因「尾」「美」二字当地同音，岗尾公社改用「岗美」之名。镇页与岗美社区页对圩名的写法不同，一作「大坪」，一作「大圩」。[1][4]

第七次全国人口普查（2021年6月）结果显示，岗美镇人口约4.17万人，在阳春市各镇街中排第7位。百度百科载，截至2019年末，全镇户籍人口为65132人。[1][3]

经济[edit]

当年四月，农业农村部与财政部把岗美列为产业强镇的创建对象。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

隆岗古村位于镇南，是清代武榜眼李惟扬的故乡。村中以擎柱李公祠、崧台李公祠为中轴，两侧民居对称排列，巷道相通，多为青砖碧瓦的硬山顶建筑。[5][6][7]

擎柱李公祠在隆岗村，正屋内设两座大屏风，后堂供奉全村祖先神位，博雅地名网列为广东省文物保护单位。其创建年代各页记载不一：百度百科作清雍正九年（1731年）为纪念李惟扬之父而建，并于2019年公布为省级文物保护单位。祠中原藏的康熙五十一年榜眼牌匾已失。[6][11]

崧台李公祠同在隆岗村，始建于清同治十年（1871年），由李惟扬的子孙所建，是李惟扬故居的组成部分。博雅地名网页首称其为广东省文物保护单位，正文却称阳春市重点保护文物单位；维基百科则记为阳春市文物保护单位，公布于1984年。1991年曾下拨资金重修其瓦面和地面。[7][10][12]

轮水谢氏宗祠位于轮水村，始建于明代万历十四年（1587年），光绪二年（1877年）重修时缩小了前一进，现为二进五开间加两廊的悬山顶建筑。博雅地名网列为广东省文物保护单位，并称当地因谢氏重教而将该村叫作「秀才村」。[8]

缸瓮涌陶窑在新埠村缸瓮涌一带，年代为宋代，分布面积约5000平方米，1983年试掘，残存龙窑10座，出土陶壶、陶罐、陶盘及龙首、筒瓦等建筑构件。[9]
