红丰镇是广东省阳江市阳东区下辖的乡镇，位于阳江市北郊，镇区距市中心区约3公里。全镇辖1个社区和14个行政村，镇政府驻红丰村。[1][5][6]

红丰镇的前身是麻汕镇：1994年7月从双捷镇分出设立，2003年8月与塘坪镇互调区域后改名红丰镇，同年9月经广东省民政厅批准成立。镇名因镇政府驻红丰村而来。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，今麻汕一带分属阳江县的归善乡与南河都。民国年间，麻汕坪曾设第四区与第八区的区署。新中国成立后，此地又做过第八区政府所在地；1953年政府驻地移到双捷。1956年12月，双捷改设区；次年2月撤区，另立双捷、宁轮与麻汕三个乡，麻汕此后便随双捷一起由区、公社、镇依次管辖。[3]

麻汕镇于1994年7月析自双捷镇。到2003年8月25日，麻汕与塘坪两镇调整了彼此的辖区界线，麻汕镇随即改称红丰镇。[3][4]

行政区划与村级沿革[edit]

镇下辖红丰社区和14个行政村。2003年前后，各村陆续改由红丰镇管辖：麻汕、新塘、塘围、钓月等村于2003年10月设立村委会，红丰、塘角、漩洲村同月前后改属红丰镇；塘载村于2003年11月设立红丰镇塘载村委会，地朗村同年设立村委会；南龙、珍珠、参垌等村也在2003年设立村委会。[4][5][6]

红丰镇位于阳东区西北部，东与江城区岗列街道相连，南隔漠阳江与江城区中洲街道相望，西与江城区双捷镇隔江相对，北与阳东区塘坪镇交界。[5]

镇域属亚热带季风气候。全镇面积，博雅地名网载为102.61平方千米，耕地3.7万亩；百度百科载为94.54平方千米。两者都未注明统计年份。[1][5]

第七次全国人口普查结果，红丰镇人口为4.36万人，在阳东区各街道乡镇中居第4位（博雅地名网，2021年6月）。博雅地名网概况页另载总人口4.16万人（年份不详），百度百科载2019年末户籍人口48483人。[1][2][5]

博雅地名网概况页称，红丰镇以工业化带动城镇化，已建红丰工业开发区与塘围工业村，总面积5平方千米，园区以五金、建材、玻璃钢、木器家具等行业为主，并称有规模以上企业6家（年份不详）。[2]

据百度百科，截至2019年，镇内工业企业有90家，规模以上者3家；营业面积逾50平方米的综合商店与超市合计25家。两处的数字口径和年份不同，故并列列出。[5]

农业上，红丰省级农业现代化示范区建设推进顺利，已转入产业化经营阶段。镇概况所列一村一品的特色产品有珍珠玉米、潮观菜、参垌山地鸡、塘角蔗、新塘韭和红丰鹅。[2]

文化与教育[edit]
