坭湾村是双捷镇下辖的行政村。村名由境内白坭村与湾头村各取一字而成。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年，白坭村与湾头村合设坭湾乡，归八区双捷乡管辖。同年底农业合作化，1957年撤区改设大乡。1958年11月称坭湾管理区，1959年改设坭湾生产大队管委会。1983年撤公社，改设坭湾乡，隶属双捷区；1987年改称坭湾村委会，后又变为管理区。1988年起归阳东区双捷镇，1991年起归阳东县；1999年9月复设坭湾村委会；2003年划归江城区双捷镇。[1][3][4]

经济[edit]

2020年8月，坭湾村凭借鲜食玉米列入首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，名单由省农业农村厅发布。[1]

文化[edit]

2023年度阳江市卫生村的名单中，新围村、白二村等十一个村列在其上，时间为2023年10月；白九村则于2021年12月被定为2021年度阳江市卫生村。[1]
