朗东村是双捷镇下辖的行政村。村名因由朗湾分出而来，位置在朗湾以东。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

这里原属朗湾与坭朗两个管理区。1952年3月设朗东乡，归八区坭朗乡管辖。1956年12月农业合作化之后，朗东并入双捷乡。1958年11月称朗东管理区，次年设生产大队管委会。1961年至1963年间，先后归麻汕人民公社与双捷人民公社。1983年撤公社、设朗东乡，属双捷区；1987年改称朗东村委会，之后又称管理区。1988年划入阳东区双捷镇，1991年划归阳东县，1999年4月重设村委会，2003年划归江城区双捷镇。[1][3][4]

文化[edit]

福安西村、福安东村和朗二村皆属朗东村委会，它们在2021年12月获得2021年度阳江市卫生村称号。[1]
