历史沿革[edit]

村子的前身在1953年属十一区平章乡，后改归平章管理区与平章大队。1961年，山白、白社两个自然村从平章大队中分出，另立山白大队，属海陵人民公社。1967年8月设革委会，1970年复称管委会；1983年11月撤销公社，设立山白乡[1]。
