北汀村是广东省阳江市江城区闸坡镇下辖的村，位于闸坡镇西北部，距镇政府约8公里[1][2]。村子背靠第一山，省道277从村边经过[1]。

地名[edit]

村子位于海陵岛北面的海边，地势是平滩平地，村名由此而来[1]。

地理[edit]

村子位于海拔约250米的第一山西南麓。山顶原有一座烽火台，山下清代建有兵营，今已毁。第一山水库周边另有五座水塘[1]。

村中有多棵明清两代的黄皮、荔枝等古树[1]。
