东一村是阳江市江城区平冈镇下辖的行政村。村址在北滘河以东，按自北向南的次序排为第一，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

保甲制在1949年11月取消，此地划归西区近河乡管辖。1953年，这里有了东一乡的建制；1958年改称东一管理区，次年又设为生产大队。1961年，东一转归附城区的对岸人民公社。[1]

1967年8月，这里设起革命委员会；1970年撤委，复设管理委员会。1983年东一恢复乡制，1987年改称村委会，随后又叫管理区，1999年再设村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，东一村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
